Leeches around Edmonton in winter?

Are there any places where you can get a hold of leeches during the winter. Heading up to slave lake in march for a fishing trip.

Just use frozen minnows. Can catch the walleye at Slave with no bait at all. They're starving. No use looking for leeches.

Leeches aren't available in winter, minnows work plenty good.

Thanks for the replies. I will just stick with minnows then.

If you really want leaches, use Gulp leaches.
