Gibbs tackle now made in China?
 

I was running low on Crock spoons and went to my local Crappy Tire to pick up some more... the "made in Canada" claim is no more, instead there is a sticker saying "Made in China" on every lure they make! When did this happen? Its been a few years since I bought a Gibbs lure but I'm pretty sure the last ones I bought were made in Canada, very disturbing since I think Len Thompson bought out Gibbs a few years back... I hope this isn't an indication of things to come :angry3: I swear I'll make my own spoons before I buy a Chinese Len Thompson.

Yep, but they've owned Gibbs since the early 90's... moving Gibbs to china happened under their ownership.
