I really like GNR singing "knocking on heaven's door".
Axl belts it out when he was in his prime. Great Concert back in the 90's.
I turn it up whenever I hear it on the radio. Yes I said radio-remember those?

Metallica covering Bob Segers On the Road Again a cover that IMO is better than the original, Headstones cover of Dillons Tweeter and the Monkey Man

Pretty much the whole garage inc album by Metallica.

Agreed, Baba Oreilly, and Rockin in the free world are among my favorite PJ covers.

Two of my favs were already mentioned, whiskey in the jar, and turn the page, both by Metallica, but another great cover is Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" by nine inch nails.

Forgot about this gem, Mustard Plug doing The Freshman.

Indeed -- his cover is so close to the original, and the original is so hard to find, that it's almost criminal. And I say this as a huge EV/PJ fan.

If anyone has a complete copy of Indio's "Big Harvest" album (better still: a digital version), please PM me -- I've been looking for it for a long time. I only have the one song (Hard Sun)...
