Trap some beavers for me. Wildwood area

We have a few of the problem critters taking over some ponds near Hansonville.
I am not interested in having them shot....
They must be trapped.
You get the pelt in exchange for the experience.

Two ponds on 70 acres that you can harvest from.

Sooner rather than later.

Hide is not much compensation .

With the price of beaver pelts the trapper would be paying to remove them for you.

You might have some luck getting a trapper to deal with the beaver if the ponds hold good numbers of muskrat as well. Giving a trapper the right to target muskrat on your land for the spring as well in exchange for removing beaver might get someone's attention.

Even at that you will need to find a new trapper looking for land to trap or one that lives close by.

Offering just the beaver pelt will make it hard to find a trapper willing to do it. The market is really bad for beaver right now to the point it would not cover the fuel bill.

Good luck

If you were a little closer I'd do it just to gain the experience but I'm up in Morinville. I recently made a similar arrangement with someone in the local area. You might get lucky and find someone like me living near you. Good luck!

Thanks to everyone who contacted me. The problem should be taken care of when the ice is off.
