Are you paying based on size & quality, or just a set price for skinned or whole dogs ?

I've got 2 skinned pelt (so far), not fleshed, rolled up in the freezer.

25-40 for whole coyotes, skinned and rolled up would have to be based on what I can see

That sounds aweful cheap for coyotes???

wwbirds 11-25-2019 11:31 AM

reasonable

the easy part is shooting snaring or trapping.
75% of the value is in the proper handling skinning and stretching/drying.
A few years ago my son shot a few with a 223 but wasn't much into skinning sewing or removing fat or velum from hide. He averaged $34 at Nafa.
Mine with proper care went for $118 to $148.

Exactly i'm right up there with most people when it comes to whole coyotes,I have to put all the blood, sweat and tears into having a finished product, skinning, fleshing, washing and boarding,so that is what im willing to pay for a whole product.

For a whole animal that I have to skin, flesh, wash board etc,I don't think so,plus deal with carcasses.
