If you were to buy arrows today, what would you get?

I'm looking to upgrade from my cheapy Gold Tip Warrior arrows.

Is ultra micro diameter worth the hassle of running outserts?

I'm shooting a Carbon Icon at 70lbs, 29" draw length. I'm right at 300 spine with 100gr heads.

I've been looking hard at Victory VAP TKO arrows.

I was also thinking 3 fletch Blazers at a slight helical would stabilize a fixed blade broad head nicely.

I use 4 fletch helical, Bohning X vanes 2.25”, Victory V-Force 300 spine, 4 blade fixed TOTA broadhead. 29.5” draw and 28” arrow at 70lbs. They stabilize to at least 100 yards and they penetrate well.

I'll be fletching up a dozen Beman Hunter Classic 400s cut to 27.750" today
with three 3" Fusion XIIs, easton S nocks, 100 gn target head.
I'm drawing 55lbs at 28" with a Triax this is for deer and turkey.
A 380 spine would be ideal for my setup to be able to go up in dw later.
The 3" Fusions are a bit lower profile height than blazers but add a bit
to spine stiffness and change FOC very little.

Am thinking about getting some small dia. arrows for target (10+ fps gain)
but the additional cost of a new quiver and fletching jig and custom inserts
and nocks ? Don't know just yet have to think on that some more.

With the 28” arrows on the 29.5” draw length, are your broad heads right above the shelf of the bow?

What degree do you have on your helical? 3?

End of the shelf, whatever degree the Bitzenberger helical clamp uses.

Well I went to Jimbows today and ended up getting a dozen VAP TKO Gamers in 300 spine. They shot quite well out of my bow right off the hop. I’ll have to paper tube when I get back home.

How heavy are they? I'm looking for something new as well and my specs are almost identical to yours.

The VAP TKO’s are heavier than the VAP’s.

Here is the chart for the TKO

I got just the standard 34gr insert to start, but there’s options to go heavier should you want higher FOC and arrow weight.

My arrow at 28.5” should weigh around 430gr. I’ll have to weigh it on my chargemaster scale when I get home.

I'm shooting victory vap gamers but will be switching to black eagle rampage arrows with their new F.O.C.O.S. outsert system.

Here's a good review video of them:
