Like mentioned , there was 8” or so with a crust , sometimes you could walk on it , sometimes you’d break through. My f350 worked very hard getting to my spot not sure if a side by side after today’s snow and wind would be an option

Headed out along the north shore with a sled and a big quad. It was a tough go breaking trail with the quad and even hit some flood water closer to shore. Fishing was slow, probably a half dozen good bites each and landed two fish in about a day and half. Never needed an auger extension once.
