Ghost lake ice

Has anyone been by ghost lake lately? Just wondering if the ice is off and if you can launch a boat yet.

99% ice as of a couple days ago at the boat launches on the east side.

Most years it is middle of May at the earliest.

Thanks for the replys, I was hopeful hearing the reports of other lakes being ice free in southern Alberta. Oh well, a few more weeks I guess.

they are doing some work on the launch, possibly widening it, so it might be a bit until you can launch

I saw a govt post saying the launch will be closed till July 7th(?) when they raise the lake level. They are rebuilding it.
