Highwood

Heading up to the Highwood near Strawberry Equestrian Campground and thought I'd see if anyone has been there recently, how's the fishing?
Anything interesting happening up there?
thanks!

Was there last week. Few guys fishing and said it was pretty good.

That's good to hear, i hope the weather holds out
i'm assuming terrestrials and midges are the menu of choice?

And don’t forget the spray..

was in the area last weekend. Couple REALLY feisty and thick cutties. Water pretty low, was there early AM but fishing was really slow until it warmed up. I tied on almost a dozen patterns till parachute adams started hooking up

I haven't fished Spray Lake for years...and years.
I think we'll focus on the Highwood, Etherington maybe the Oldman...etc.

sloken, do you recall seeing much midge action? Were you upstream or downstream of the Strawberry Equestrian Camp?

thx again!

Water was very low last week. Still were looking up however, but spooked easily.
