Business phone line solutions?
Started a new company that needs its own number, the intention is to forward the number to the on-call person on their own phone. Telus has a solution for 20/month, just spent an hour on hold with Bell and was actually told to go Telus. Any ideas on a solution? We do not need another device - just the number.

If you've already got a landline, can't you just add a second number?
We just run cell phones. No landline since 2014. |
Sorry should have added we don't have a land line. ~2006 was the last time we used one of those.

Look into the TELUS Wireless Home Phone product, I think it is pretty cheap to add to an existing mobility account.

Did i miss something? Looks like you answered your own question no? With the telus thing. 20/month seems like a great deal. As a business owner thats a tiny expense for a nessesity.

Check out voip.ms you can order an Edmonton number doe around $3/month and you will have the option to forward it to a cell number or just voicemail that goes to your email. You can even order toll free numbers on there.

I don't know if this is the Telus solution you're talking about, or if it would work for a cell phone only set up, but it may be worth a look.
https://www.telus.com/en/bc/business...iness-connect# We moved to it in our office (though probably unnecessary given the size of our office), but you can take advantage of their 'auto receptionist' or set which number calls are forwarded too, etc. |
