To make a really convincing story, next time when your in the backcountry, rent a canoe, get a hunting and fishing license, make sure the dates are close.

Then when the government comes by to take your guns: What guns? They fell overboard on my last hunting/fishing trip.

I generally abide by the law, but if our government ever tried to take my guns they would have to create a robo-cop to find me and take my guns. I will haul my ass into the bush, and have a good old time shoot out. Or maybe I could claim refugee status and move to texas. :)
