Banff bow river spin casting
 

A friend and I are staying in Banff this weekend and wondering if someone could give us any tips on fishing the bow up here we only have spin tackle and only thing people can tell us is to fly fish. Also anyone know about any other bodies of water fairly close that we could fish? And help would be greatly appreciated!

When i used to spin fish, small Mepps maybe #0 or #1 in gold or silver usually worked for me.
