I need a new Cleaning Rod
I need to replace a cleaning rod that I have, who makes the better one piece rifle cleaning rod these days, Tipton or Dewey? Or is there something else I should be looking at as well?
Thanks! |
I have Dewey , Tipton, and Pro Shot, all are excellent.

I’ve Dewey and Tipton. The Dewey’s are more robust and seem better quality all around.
|
I Grew up with one piece Parker Hale rods and still use them but also have some Deweys
I really like the number of accessories and adapters available forb them as well as the steel they are built with . Cat |
Dewey for the universality and strength. I won't buy another Tipton.
|
4 Dewey and 1 Parker Hale
A couple are at least 25 years old.. |
