Thinking Turkey hunting in BC

Gonna take my 12 year old daughter on her first ever hunt. Has anyone done this? I got good decoys and I'm good at calling them in. Apparently I just suck at shooting them, came up with tag soup last year on my alberta draw.

I'm planning to try out the East Kootenays for turkey this spring. I'm a complete turkey newbie - but anxious to see how it goes.
