Bedding Pillars - supplier
Looking for some aluminum pillars ... anybody in Canada stock these?

I got a hogue stock on my .338 with full length aluminum bedding block, not sure where you can get just the pillars, you building some stocks?

You'll likely find what you need at gunsmith specialty places, but I'd not be surprised if Lee Valley Tools had what you want; you'd just have to describe it differently if one of the gardeners answers the phone:)

Pillars at
Rona, Home Depot or Ace Hardware.
Come in a pkg of six. They label them as lamp tubes... Yup, Lamp tubes work great. Cut them to the length you need. The outer screw thread holds the bedding compound very well. |

The other fellow called them lamp tubes and I knew what he meant. I call them lamp posts and got them from Home Hardware in High River. I just checked Home Depot, they call them "nipples" ..... here you go =

I have used pieces f aluminum arrow cut to the right length, the advantage being you can get the different ID to match your screws.

I just by a small piece of threaded ready rod in the appropriate size, cut it to size, make sure its square and drill the proper size out for the screw.
