Hi all
Got my trailer home after 18 days south of the border and have issues here. Main slide and a cable for my waste tank. have the trailer in front of house as slide is out and cant tow anywhere!!!!!
Anyone know a rv tech?

Usually those slides can be moved with the long flexible bit and shaft that's included with the unit (or should have been).

This also assumes it's a cable slide and not a gear slide, although I think a gear slide can be operated manually also. Just google manual slide operation

Unfortunately mine is the dreaded shcwintek system with no manual crank,

Did that a few times yesterday too but no luck. Neighbor and I managed to push slide in most of the way so at least it is not out on the street. I can tow to a dealer at least but would rather a mobile tech. Thanks for the post.

would also like to know if u find a mobile guy in Calgary. I have a wardrobe slide in my Rockwood that is a Lippert I believe that is a little out of adjustment...would rather have someone come out than take to the dealer

Try Horton RV in Shepard. I live in SE so it was 10k for me to tow it with a slide out. No mobile techs would come to site.

It’s 2 years ago, but Swift RV helped me out with a plumbing dilemma on very short notice. Quick to diagnose, quick to repair, very reasonable price. They do have a mobile service. Located in Delacour. Hope this helps.

Try Drewz Rv repair,he's helped me a couple times. Once over the phone and another time at the campground. He's from Cluny. His # is 510-4873

I've used Dave's Mobile RV in Calgary in the past. He does good work. It's definitely the busy season for them.

If your coming north, there is a guy with mobile service in Camrose, big valley is next week and weekend, I have his number on my phone.

Trailer is at Horton RV and they got me in quick. Parts ordered. I can fix most issues on my trailers over the years but schwintek slides gears and motors are above me.
