Winchester 1894 tap
 

Does anyone have a .809” 20 tpi tap that I could borrow to chase the receiver threads on a 1894 small bore. Changing the barrels for a neighbour and one thread has picked up when the old barrel was removed. Machinist by trade so know the fix required just need the tap. Thanks in advance

You might have an easier time looking for a 13/16ths by 20 TPI which has a crest diameter of .8125 according to my questionable mathematics. D.H.
