Monster Cuttie!!
 

Won't let me add a picture right now but took a couple buddies to my favourite cutthroat River. Ended up hooking a 24" monster cutthroat on an orange stimulator. Fish was well over 5 pounds and a ton of fun to catch. Will post pics soon

Going by pic #3 I would almost certainly say that is a cutbow. Red slash is not very prominent. And the size alone.

Very observant. Tend to agree.

I also agree with the guy who questions how a 24" streamlined trout weighs well over five pounds. Braden's tape measure must have been stretched.

Swear she was 24, did not weigh the fish so 5 pounds is a guess. Could've been a cut bow but as far as I know there are no rainbows in that river system.

Length and weight are nice specs. but crap that's a nice fish!

Genuinely measured 24 1/16th from jaw to tail, the weight as I stated earlier was a guess because without one of those weighing bags there's no way I'm putting a hook through the gills/ jaws to hold him up.

Yeah he was fighting hard in the current, gave my 4 weight a good bend! The palming reel was a lot of fun to fight him on aswell

Yeah I was fishing with him we had a great day out there, definitely the best trout fishing experience I've ever had :sHa_shakeshout:

I've caught them close to that size in that river.

21" is my biggest. Maybe 24" this summer.

I thought I'd attempt to post a few more pics from our trip and maybe get another one of the big guy up there :) hope this works.
