Shaye Ganam leaving Global morning show
 

Sad news, Shaye is leaving the morning show, I always enjoyed his sense of humor. I hope the have a personable replacement.

The way he used to pout, and make a point to show he wasn't listening to Brian Hall was childish and disrespectful. Not that I'm crazy about Brian hall either, but watching that every morning really turned me off of shaye ganam.

Whenever Bob Layton leaves his job, that's when I will be sad.

He is the new Ched Morning guy replacing Bruce Bowie. Chelsea Bird is his co host.

Will take Chelsea, over stone face Shaye anyday.

Shayne Ganam.....Mr congeniality, personified....He was the reason, I quit watching Global, going back many years. Had to feel for those having to share his limelight, at the time. Maybe time to move from CHED but I will let him do it to himself firstly. But then again, there were times when I found Bruce Wowie, a little hard to take.....must be old age creeping in. Global has been making subtle changes the last while. Makes me wonder who is pulling their chain, the eastern markets, I assume.

Anyone know why Andrew Gross got fired? Jaylin's show sucks for the drive home.

I’d also like to know why Andrew Grose was sacked. J-Lynne and her guest hosts are so bad that I’ve reverted back CBC for the drive home.

Him and jarred stahl/stol used to cause quite the ruckus at the old clairview pub. How quick people forget. Seem to remember something with him and the old host of the k97 morning show getting in trouble with a young women

Agreed, that show went in the toilet when they got rid of AG. I can't stand the garbage that comes out of the speakers and no longer listen to it.

As far as Grose goes, I texted them when he hadn't been on for a spell. JLN's answer was that she tried to talk him into staying, yet he wouldn't. No reason why he left though... She even said on the air that she wishes he hadn't taken the 'blue folder' they fell back on. I assume it was for on air topics.

We too miss Grose. He was a card and very quick witted, I thought...

Jesperson sucks, he may as well call his show the virtual signallers. Every week theres at least once conversation about white people being bad, another about trump, one more about bigotry and yet never any about Trudeau. Can't pee on the guy who found Chorus Radio eh!!

Shaye is a pompous eh-hole and he doesn't even have a funny bone...don't tell me he has "dry" humour..he wouldn't know funny if 40 clowns slapped him around.

He had a good run on Global. When my step son was in the Sherwood Park Minor Hockey system he coached against us for a couple years. Great guy..

I actually really appreciated Shaye, gonna miss him significantly on the morning news. Best of luck on future endeavors Shaye!

I liked Shaye actually. Guy always seemed half asleep though lol, especially in the dead of winter mornings.

Ched Qr770 all just CBC lite now.... And all tied in to Global so you really get the CBC slant on everything.

What was with Shaye's sign off "Peace and Love" ? I always found it a little unprofessional, he's not Buck Martinez calling a Jays game when someone hits a homer saying "get outta here ball!"

I miss Rutherford, one of the greats. I didn't think Jespersen was to bad off the start but eventually as he got more comfortable it felt like I was tuning in to some emotionally unhinged yahoo on a crusade against all things conservative. Haven't tuned into 630 for quite some time now.

I wonder if people got this upset about when Bill Matheson would bounce his pointer stick off the ground when he would sign off?
