Draws 2020

Hello everyone I thought with the crazy virus, oil price crashing, people self isolating etc. It would be a good time to think positive so who is drawing for what and where? I will be a partner tag with my dad for 509 Antlered moose and drawing 509 Antlered elk. :sHa_shakeshout:
Stay safe and keep your powder dry.

Smoky buck 03-19-2020 07:33 AM

Only building priority this year but I will still be checking all the time just to apply 999 lol

Somedays I think hunting is a mental illness :thinking-006:

elkhunter11 03-19-2020 08:04 AM

For the ,most part, I will be building priority, but myself and my hunting partner, will likely draw antlerless mule deer tags, to help out a friend whose yard shrubs are being destroyed again this winter.

mulecrazy 03-19-2020 08:05 AM

hopefully cash in my antelope priority. Also throwing around ideas of pulling my bull elk tag or possibly having the wife use her either sex priority.

NayNay 03-19-2020 08:20 AM

Priority only for me. Might put the wife in for her bull moose, still have a few months to decide.

Torkdiesel 03-19-2020 12:30 PM

Antelope archery is on the table....

I haven’t been around in September the last 6 years to pull it. If this border crisis drags on this might be my year to make it happen

MugEye 03-19-2020 12:33 PM

Who knows we might not even have a hunting season open this year to limit travel

StiksnStrings 03-19-2020 03:57 PM

Planning a trip to Fawcett so I'll be putting in for that. Got drawn for moose last year so starting fresh on priority points.

ThirtyCal 03-19-2020 03:58 PM

Got a little one on the way due Sept 20 so 999 for me this year.

1bowhunter12 03-19-2020 04:56 PM

Good thing I can avoid any town from my house to some decent elk hunting less than an hour away!!

DiabeticKripple 03-19-2020 10:49 PM

debating on whether to pull my antlered moose tag or not. P6.

ive been trying to find elk closer to red deer but have struck out, so moose may be the way to go this year.

TBark 03-20-2020 06:12 AM

999 the works, and the rest of the family too.
We do ok on general tags anyways.
People live over a mile apart in our area of 360.
No better place to self isolate if this crap is still happening in 7-8 months from now.

alpineguy 03-20-2020 06:50 AM

Very slim chance I will put in for Mulie but other than that it's 999 across the board.

On the positive side there won't be any truck hunters ripping up and down the back roads while I am sitting in the bush or stand :)

With a little one on the way in Sept. I may have to fling an arrow at the first deer I see lol

Skoaltender 03-21-2020 06:55 PM

. Posted in wrong thread.

Ennyindabenny 03-21-2020 10:43 PM

I'm going to draw a 506 Antlered Mule Deer this season.

Ncameron 03-25-2020 08:28 PM

I may draw 936 for bull moose this year or maybe mule deer in 308. I have some scouting to do this summer before I decide on a plan.

smokedstew 03-25-2020 08:44 PM

999 for most this year have a 3rd addition due Aug 23rd!!! Oops slightly off timing hunting wise but still super pumped!! Debating on pulling a 348 moose tag this year as the wife loves moose and it gives me 2months to bow bunt and another to rifle if I decide to put the bow down

Mountainaccent 03-25-2020 08:54 PM

Drawing antlered mule deer on my land in drum area some bigs boys were running around last year. And antlered elk down south

wildwoods 03-25-2020 08:58 PM

My advise to everyone: pick up blank tags while the stores are still open- or you might not be hunting anything. Maybe that applies more to spring bear than anything. At least with blanks you can buy tags online and get after it.

LJalberta 03-25-2020 10:39 PM

I think I'll pull my non-trophy sheep this year. The rest will be general tags and building priority.

reddeerhunter 03-25-2020 10:53 PM

This.

Words from a wise person. Can u order tags online??

reddeerhunter 03-25-2020 10:54 PM

Draws

3 elk possible for 200 zone, not likely, 3 moose 999. Rest 999.

Not that I know of. I could be wrong. Easiest is to rip to cabelas or CT and request free blanks.

I have 10 of them so if anyone is in desperate straits later, lemme know.

For sure, I have done so in the past. Takes a while, but they do show up.
