For the "Car Guys & Gals" out there...

The late Paul Walker's vehicle collection just went to auction at Barrett Jackson's Scottsdale 2020 event. Even if you don't know or like him, he was an iconic automotive figure both on & off screen. Below is a list of the vehicles, but I started this thread because of one specific car... The BMW M3. * He had a few. Well, actually 7, but five were (nearly) identical and the other two were the same but 3 years apart. They are special M3's, not just because of him but because they're very rare "Lightweight" models (~120 worldwide) that are highly sought after. Five BMW M3's... 1988, 1991, five 1995's. Sold for, drum-roll please... $ 1,710,500 USD or about $2,250,000 Cnd - the best example had ~4500 miles and sold for $385,000 USD... https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...TWEIGHT-234786 :scared0015: * There was quite a bit of controversy when a business partner of Pauls "liquidated" (reads - stole 30 cars) over half of his car collection immediately after his death. The cars auctioned last week were the ones the family kept or got back. His Mustang collection was noteworthy on it's own. It's a shame when people steal from the dead. :mad0030: Quote:
