Fishing San Jose Del Cabo/ recommendations?

Taking my son (12) this week for a father son holiday. Any recommendations on charter services. Expectations. For this time of year? Would like at least 1 day for bottom fishing. For more action.
Thanks for any and all info.
Paul

Fishing San Jose Del Cabo

I fished with Ricardo with Fati Fishing Charters and he was awesome. He got us into some great action for Mahi Mahi, tuna and sailfish. His boats are out of the Puerto Los Cabos pier which is nearby to San Jose Del Cabo. Good luck!

Can't comment on who to go with, but I did want to comment on how awesome it is that you're taking your son on a father-son fishing trip. I went on my first father-son fishing trip when I was twelve as well. Kesagami in northern Ontario. Something I'll never forget! Good luck.

There is a guide out there i think his name is wesley and he does guided trips on the shore casting out from the beach. Really cool experience and obviously not as pricey. Try google it, i think that was his name.

Something different - it depends on how good your son can cast i guess as well....

When I was at San Jose del Cabo a month ago, the DIYer beach casting guys weren't catching anything - except for the locals like this guy:

x2 , Dad fished with Macario , Ricardo's father who is retired now. Another guy who does really well is a gentlemen named Tony . I don't have a lot of info on him but talked to him at the marina and he definitely puts fish on the boat. You may even want to take a trip down to Cabo for a day and try a fishing out of there. We did half day trips out of Pangas for $150.00 US add another $50.00 for a tip and $20.00 for live bait .
