Just one gun

If you could only own one handgun, what would it be?

Dick284 07-29-2018 08:11 AM

There is no just one!

Advent721 07-29-2018 08:26 AM

That’s like saying you only need one pair of shoes or boots! 😜

lannie 07-29-2018 08:30 AM

Smith & Wesson model 41.

My choice as well, accurate, and cheap to shoot.

If money is not a limiting factor, the S&W Model 41 is hard to beat. I really enjoyed my Browning Buckmark and would not hesitate getting another. The Ruger is good too, but a little more finicky to break down.

Toss up. 1911 or sig 226. Mostly I lean 1911, then I pick up the sig.........

silver lab 07-29-2018 10:31 AM

Heres how “high class” I am... if I could only have one gun it would be a Remington 870 12g. I could hunt anything with it from chickens to bear.

heybert 07-29-2018 10:57 AM

S&W Model 27
Colt Series 70 or 80 1911 close second

Lol! Missed the hand gun part..... so I’ll have to change mine to a Sawed off 870 ;)

Glock G22 with a storm lake 9mm barrel as well.

Flight01 07-29-2018 10:22 PM

12 gauge pump.

Smokinyotes 07-29-2018 10:28 PM

I’m really liking my wife’s new CZ shadow 2 in 9mm but i would have to say if I can only have one it would be my Redhawk 44 mag

58thecat 07-30-2018 07:02 AM

S&Wmodel 629, 5" barrel.

Handgun!

kaleh01 07-30-2018 08:13 AM

One handgun

Glock 10mm, great performance, higher capacity than a wheel gun and I reload for it. A hopped up mag full of 180gr rounds are no slouch

EZM 07-30-2018 05:55 PM

S&W MP40 with the under barrel laser in the 4" compact. Nice size, easy to shoot.

Jayhad 07-30-2018 06:00 PM

Glick 34, I just love that handgun

oneguywithsixguns 07-30-2018 06:06 PM

Combine the only two I ever owned. a 1911 and an M9. Something with the slender frame and .45 ACP of the 1911 with the user friendliness and double action of the M9

Speed reading and typing. Haha.

YoteStopper 07-30-2018 11:03 PM

Full custom 1911 from Republic Forge. Case colored frame and slide, mammoth ivory grip scales, blued safety and other small parts.

catnthehat 07-30-2018 11:18 PM

Colt single action in .45 ,or a Ruger Vaquero- in.45 !

Cat

rem338win 07-30-2018 11:57 PM

Goodness sakes. Huh.

It would be hard to choose really, but I'd say either a Colt Delta 10mm or a S&W 629.

Brbpuppy 07-31-2018 05:30 AM

Glock 19

I could do that...one gun though? Really?? There are at least 6 on my absolute must have list. Only one? Toss up between a Python, my 5" Model 27-2, and my 4" Model 657 (41 mag).

wolf308 07-31-2018 08:50 AM

1911

I’d probably keep my p220 in .45acp. Fortunately I’m not forced to make that choice yet.

bobalong 08-01-2018 01:00 AM

Only have one so it would be the Berreta Neos. I have found it easy to break down and pretty accurate for an entry level .22. So far has handled any of the .22 rounds I have put it.
