Like so much else in our society, a few make the majority look bad.
No arguing that some country hicks break the law. And so too do a few "city slickers" I'd be willing to bet that the percentage of either group who ignores the law is about the same. People are people whether they are wearing muck boots or loafers. No doubt there are fewer bad actors in rural environs, on average, but only because rural populations are much lower then most urban centers. I don't think any generalizations can be made other then to say. people are people. |

The rest were very proud and grateful for Calgarians and other Albertans saving us. Another generalization in a thread about the dangers of generalizations :) |
Ok... here's another doozy for ya.
Let's discuss the difference between the yuppie anti acreage owners vs. farm owners! :scared0018: (I'm a farm kid stuck in Calgary) |
Funny thing,
Drive around city residential streets for an hour or two,, Bet you won't see 3 ugly, offensive , NO TRESSPASSING, NO HUNTING, KEEP OUT PRIVATE PROPERTY signs,, Nothin says " We're NOT HOME " like a closed gate :thinking-006: Yet property crimes in cities are huge in per capita comparisons to rural property crimes, Ugly SIGNS are very effective, lmao :sHa_sarcasticlol: |
