List of Banned Guns

Here is the list of banned guns as of today.

This is mind blowing that a minority government can pull such a stunt.

This will cost me, and many of you big time.

link works for me when i click on it

elkhunter11 05-01-2020 10:01 AM

It finally worked for me, after several attempts

DiabeticKripple 05-01-2020 10:09 AM

what i find interesting, is there are some AR15 style firearms not on the list, so they are still good for now.

darren32 05-01-2020 10:10 AM

This is a nice touch, basically just stating that if people start buying a certain model they will ban it.

There is also a risk that affected firearms owners may elect
to replace their firearms with models unaffected by the
ban, causing a market displacement. This risk may be
mitigated by adding additional makes and models to the
list of prohibited firearms in the future.

My wife want's to retire in the US. I was for the most part opposed to it .... until today. What a stupid country we live in.

Jeff/1911 05-01-2020 10:10 AM

Wow.

They will now be expensive ... until they add them to the list

Hence why I didn’t buy one, nor will I try. No sense in going deeper down the rabbit hole. I’m already $10,000 in

You also need to consider this.

They even banned some Prairie Gun Works models, how the hell do they expect Canada to get domestically manufactured military hardware if they legislate their own frigging military supply companies out of business?

This government must be removed through vote of no confidence. This non democratic piece of crap must be set on fire and the Governor Generals position should be eliminated. Anyone signing off on this hunk of turd piece of paper is clearly a tyrant.

Jeff/1911 05-01-2020 10:30 AM

Amen to that.

Please copy and paste list if you have access to it

its over 1500 lines long, it would be wayyyy too much to paste in here.

brendan's dad 05-01-2020 10:43 AM

What a joke, they say 1500 for the media effect. This is the list of banned firearms

M16, AR-10, and AR-15 rifles and M4 carbine;
Ruger Mini-14 rifle;
US Rifle M14;
Vz58 rifle;
Robinson Armament XCR rifle;
CZ Scorpion EVO 3 carbines and pistols;
Beretta Cx4 Storm carbine;
SIG Sauer SIG MCX and SIG Sauer SIG MPX carbine and pistol; and
Swiss Arms Classic Green and Four Seasons series (as specified in former Bill C-71: An Act to amend certain Acts and Regulations in relation to firearms).

The 1500 comes from actually listing all the models.

Try this link.

they even want the upper receivers

Quote:

The Regulations also prescribe the upper receivers of M16, AR-10, AR-15 and M4 pattern firearms to be prohibited devices.

I might be wrong but I think they could still produce under military contract .

sillyak 05-01-2020 10:50 AM

The link is spotty due to traffic.

Don't forget about firearms making over 10 000 joules. So no more 50 BMG

ceadog 05-01-2020 11:01 AM

So are they just reclassified as prohibited like a 12.6/12.7?

Attilathecanuk 05-01-2020 11:01 AM

Much of the list includes mortars, grenade launchers, recoilless rifles, LAW rockets and such. I cannot stress how much the liberal losers amaze me with their stupidity

morinj 05-01-2020 11:05 AM

Is it me or is there no word on pistols?

no, straight to prohib, you wont be able to legally possess them after the amnesty

after more reading, it seems they are trapping ALL of the ar15 variants with a broad brush.

Quote:

Many of the known variants or modified versions of the approximately 1 500 firearms are also specifically prescribed to be prohibited firearms. The Regulations apply to all variants of the principal model, current or future, whether they are expressly listed or not.

They specified they aren't touching pistols, but want to enact legislation that gives municipal governments the power to ban or restrict them.

Give them another term and they will ban them nationwide as well.

Everyone needs to fight this.

Ouch. I have less than 15 :)

dth_ 05-01-2020 12:34 PM

Interesting the Tavor, Bushmaster ACR, B&T APC, Benelli MR1, etc is not on the list. They must be less scary somehow than the XCR?

A guys gotta believe there will be a judicial review submitted and this will get picked apart by competent lawyers.

Also I don't see the SKS on there. How's that different from a Mini 14?

I'm glad I don't own any guns. Nope. None at all.

Pioneer2 05-01-2020 01:10 PM
