Was gonna say wabamun but if thats not the case then east pit lake is not bad, Beautiful quiet area.

Yeah I was going to suggest East Pit for trout. Although, if you plan on keeping any, just letting you know, they taste like mud.

There is public access/ parking area. You do have to do a short 3-5 minute walk to the water. The place is pretty nice.

This is the view in the winter, Its definitely worth the visit.

Jackfish lake. Tons of walleyes (some good size) and pike. Small perch too. Fish the mornings and evenings to avoid water sport boats.

Hasse Lake has been stocked again for the first time in many years. Try Salters Lake by Onoway for trout and Devil’s Lake east of Onoway for pike and perch.
