Eureka!... The reason for Alberta's low voter turnout

Upon checking my mailbox today I found a mailer from Elections Alberta notifying me to vote on Monday, March 3rd, 2008. It also was good enough provide me with information about where my polling station is located. Apparrently I can also vote in advance if I can't make it in on voting day. Suh-weeet!

Well shiver me timbers!, I should go out and research the local candidates and their platforms, be they independants or party members. Thank goodness for the efficiency of our government, and their hard working departments such as Elections Alberta.

I imagine this is a slag towards Canada Post as there was plenty of advertising in the major papers as well as on radio by Elections Alberta that included their toll-free contact number prior to Mar 3rd.
