3 trappers on right now. Went to school and played soccer with the 2 kids Duncan and Malcolm.

Listening right now, I see that and it will always be that a trapper will never understand the fella sipping a fancy coffee surrounded by a concrete jungle and vice versa. Trappers are very in tune with thier environment can't say the same for the fancy sipping coffee fella/gal.
I also say live and let live and if your going to spew walk a mile in each others shoe's to fully understand, then and only then will your voice be heard and understood fully.

I thinks they did a very good job representing us trappers

I just listened to part 1 of the show and the Abercrombies did a phenomenal job of representing Trappers. They provided an excellent explanation of what trapping is all about in a clear and intelligent manner. They helped to dispel many of the anti trapping myths and did a great job.

Cudos to the Abercrombies! :happy0034:

trapper interviews

An excellent representation of Alberta trappers. Good job!

They did an awesome job representing the true side of trapping. You couldn't ask for better spokespersons.

Flight01 11-23-2017 09:54 PM

I also think they did a great job.

Most people don’t know anything about our trapping Reg’s and specifically trap design and how far it has come
Secondly, I like how they put it out there for people to see the big picture. If you are a part of society you are a part of some of the very issues you detest. If you create a subdivision by draining a swamp who will deal With the beavers living on the fringe and causing water draining issues . Trappers play a role by accepting their place and doing something to manage the wildlife.
People just need to be educated. Trappers aren’t just out there killing indiscriminately, there is a science , A reason and also respect behind what they do .
Also, closing remarks were awesome. Fur is green. In a society hell bent on the latest earth friendly and sustainable things, why isn’t fur that much more in demand. ??
