That thing is a frickin toad! To bad about losing it. I lost 9 years of bullriding pictures in a house fire, I feel some of your pain.

BigRackLover 11-19-2011 05:12 PM

that's just a great picture.....sorry about your loss. Definitely tough to take.

browning375 11-19-2011 05:50 PM

At least i kept a picture of him in my office at work. Best whitetail hunt ever in 24hrs. Both really nice deer my brother downed the 4x4 the night before.

Wow beautiful deer!!

BTK 11-19-2011 06:31 PM

Could always get a replica done. Do you remember any of the measurements, other photo's?

Alberta Bigbore 11-19-2011 07:56 PM

thats a great deer... but there is always a bigger deer you can look forward to harvesting:)

Don K 11-19-2011 09:07 PM

That sucks...

albertabenbuckkiller 11-19-2011 09:35 PM

That's brutal man. Was anything left of the antlers or just reduced to ashes? If the antlers are still in tact I have a nice cape here I would be happy to give you!

wbl170 11-19-2011 09:52 PM

That's unfortunate but you always have your memories! They last forever.

thats the first thing i looked for when i went in after the fire. it was totally destroyed, the room it was in was where it was worst hit.

Yeah, The 4x4 we got the night before. The next morning i shot the big guy 300yds from where we laid the 4x4 down. I knew there was a bigger buck there buy the amount of scrabes and rubs around. Totally an epic hunt that can never be duplicated.

Lone_Wolf 11-20-2011 11:45 AM

What a great buck, sorry for your loss. I know there are places out there that can build replica antlers if you have pictures and measurements. Perhaps that's something you can look into?
