New Sako Roughtech Pro
 

Just put together latest package. A7 Roughtech Pro in 7mmRM.Topped off wuth a Leuoold VX3 4.5-14 with a B&C reticle. Will be pushing Hornady ELD-X 160gr with IMR 4831.
Anyone else have a roughtech? It shoulders like a dream. Trigger could be a little lighter, but is still good.

Nice. Have you tried out the adjustable trigger on your A7?

A buddy bought one 2 years ago in a 300wm topped with a VX2 4-12x40 scope. It's a sweet rifle

Yeah. I adjusted it down to the bottom limit. Still ok. Not like a timney though. I really like the heavier barrel on the roughtech.

Love mine haven't had a chance to try it out at any distance yet but sighting it in, it was a beaut to hold and shoot
7mm shooting 140gr win ballistic silver tips near the end of the box my last 2 groups were all touching
im very happy with it so far

To find bottom limit on these triggers you sometimes have to shorten the adjustment screw to prevent it from running into the trigger mounting screw.

Same as a T3.

Good tip - makes sense.

For those who would like to know. I found 2 good nodes after 60 rounds. One at 59gr. And one at 6?.5 Both under 1 inch at 160 yards, with the 59.0 being slightly better.

Wow. This is a old post of mine. Started reading and thought someone else set up the same rig as mine. Lol
Anyways. I adjusted the trigger to 2.5lbs. And got a nice WT Buck with it last year. This roughtech is a great rifle.

I shoot a Sako. Such a smooth action, great feel, good looker, well built, and its a tack driver. Have a few buddies that have similar results with their Sako's. Pricier than most but a great rifle from my experience. Hopefully for you as well.

Just picked up a roughtech (black and stainless version) in 7mm Rem Mag 2 weeks ago. Really like the look and feel of it. Oh, and it shoots pretty damn nice too :)
