"CS" lettering????
Hello all,
I have a question about something I have noticed around my neck of the woods. I live in Cochrane and have noticed a couple of pick-up trucks with lettering "CS" in the corner of the windsheilds, it kinda looks like a branding symbol some ranchers may have. Is this an area these fellas hunt and lets the landowner know who's out there if the landowner comes across their vehicle? If it is what i'm thinking, it's sounds like a very good idea. Camp Wainwright uses something like this but with numbers of which day you are on. Just was curious, thanks:cool: |
They are Calgary Stampede Trucks
|
Yeah could be, but didn't look like the Calgary stampede symbol. Plus the they were definatley hunters vehicles. I've heard of landowners/ranchers doing this.
|
The caravan committee and others have various brands that they put on thier vehicles. I'm sure lots of guys that help with the stampede are hunters.
I've been wrong many times before though... |
In the stampede logo or brand, the "S" is lazy

One of those little things that stick in your mind and won't let go. I think it might represent Canadian Superior, an oil company, that operates gas plants, as well.

yeah your probably right, It just seemed like a coincidence that both trucks were hunters trucks (browning sticker, big buck silohete sticker, binoculars on the dash, camo and such).
Just thought i'd inquire?? |
