For all those hunting big game this year it might be warm when transporting you animal,we stop and pick up a pallet for the bottom of our truck bed so the meet has air flow all around it,keeps it a lot cooler.just a idea good luck to all this year and stay safe:sHa_shakeshout:

Why have I not thought of this?

pallet
Pallet would be especially useful if you run a diesel with turbo especially a Dodge Ram Cummins they run very hot. Just kidding on the Ram but all turbo exhausts under box throw a lot of heat.

I made a rack using 2×4s and 1" dowels, that I carried in the bed of my pickup to keep the meat off of the bed, and to allow circulation. It was easy to make with a hole saw and some wood glue and screws, but it got left behind when I moved. I just drilled holes every 6" or so, in four lengths of 2x4, and passed the dowels through them ,one 2x4 on each end, and the other two evenly spaced in between.

I use my quad ramps. They are diamond pattern perforated steel and flow really well when you drive.
