Broken rod tip

Can you get a rod tip from say TFH or WSS ? If so, How do you re attach one ? Crazy glue?

I broke off a tip from a fly rod a few years back. Bout 2 inches. Took it to the fly fishing shop and he fitted it with a tip. Put it on and heated it up with a bic lighter. Bought a new rod since. So that one that broke is just a back up now. Don't recall the make of the rod.

Yep, you can buy tip repair kits for cheap...then just stick it on with a little hot glue.

Last time I went into the Reel Dr. he charged $7.50 for a tip repair...was in and out in 5 mins.

If its a newer rod try sending a note to the manufacture. Did that with Fenwick and they sent me a brand new rod tip free of charge. I just paid for the shipping.
