Gunsmith Recommendation *Browning BLR*

Looking for a Gunsmith Recommendation that has experience with Browning BLR Rifles.

Locating in Calgary or Alberta preferred, however willing to consider OOP.

Thanks in advance for any and all recommendations.

You could try Henry Rempel out of Langdon

I wish you luck, the BLR is a mechanical nightmare internally, and many gunsmiths avoid working on them like the plague.

Perhaps if you outlined what the nature of the work you need done, it would help folks steer you to a gunsmith.

Good on you!. Finding someone to fix BLRs seems to be getting harder all the time. Used to be a fair number of guys that were good with them but a lot seem to have retired and some others don't work on them any more.

The older BLRs seem to be less troublesome to assemble than the newer style with the pivoting hammer. Like anything else experience makes the difference . The first few new style BLRs that I did caused some colourful language.

Have you ever tackled a Finnwolf?

I don’t recall , if I did it would have been in the early 80s

Would like to Thank FPS Plus for his incredibly professional Service. It is evident that he is knowledgeable and highly skilled.

Gun is working Flawlessly now.

Also thanks to those who referred him on here.

I was quite disheartened with the first couple of Gunsmiths i talked to prior to my post on here.

Very Grateful my BLR is back to new.

Highly Recommend FPS Plus.
