Help Little buddy heater won't light
Have a little buddy heater and it won't light, the pilot light will come on but that's it. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks Andy |
I have the same issue as well. Normally when the bottle is cold though, I normally just give it a bit of help with a lighter and 50% of the time it goes.

I use a BBQ lighter and just hold it in place for about 20-30 seconds. These take a bit of time to fill the burner screen with enough gas/pressure it seems to me.

They have to be vertical. There is a tilt sensor. I hear altitude is a big problem with them over 5000? Feet. Very cold propane doesn't have much pressure therefore low volume. All of these could explain your issue

Snow, ice or water can get into the gas line. Take the unit apart, unscrew the gas line, clear it, and reassemble.
Bask in glory and heat. |
I was tryin to operate mine without a filter in the line it caused all kinds of problems at times it was hard to light once light only run a short time then there were times it wouldn't light at all
