That doesn't mean throw it away or anything because it is worth nothing of course, but I would venture you would be getting lucky with someone who wants it for a display in their man cave and pay maybe double the value of a new bottle on a really good day, but realistically less... Old beer, all of the same kind, barely anything other than again someone who wants a display bottle in a man cave, and even then those you see everywhere in antique malls and flea markets. |
A bottle of Remy Martin cognac used to be $46.99 at SuperStore liquor. Now it's $49.99 but still a bargain price compared to some other stores. It's my favourite lubricant when tying flies at the bench.

I typically have a big Costco box of Bud Light in the garage freezer-good enough for most friends who stop by and the majority of my beer drinking which isn't much these days. Also a box of Stellas which I enjoy on occasion.
The rye of choice is Wisers, been that way since I was young when my step Dad's friend told me it was the way to go. He drank quite a bit of it so he must have been right. :) Wine, most anything but not a huge Cab Sav fan, Malbec would be tops, especially with a nice venison or elk steak. |
