Advanced Level Roofing

They are excellent period.
Had my roof done a couple of months ago, all their promises made were kept.

I got a quote from these guys and they've been pestering me like arctic mosquitos ever since. The high-pressure follow-ups turned me off of them.

Advanced level guys were formally trained by Telus in high pressure sales before getting into roofing. As in you are leaving a sports game and they promise you the world to make you sign up. Also they use entry level Owens Corning Oakridge brand.

Hmm, I didn't have that experience with them but good to hear. Many of neighbors went with them as well and I haven't heard of the complaint.

I think with all trades it is difficult to find 100% support to one company.

Anyone but Epic Roofing.. they are registered as a church and don't pay a cent of income tax.

Angel's roofing. They were great to deal with.

Sunwest roofing did my roof 2 years ago. They were not the cheapest, but they were much less ($2,000 ish) than Epic and Meercat. Did a great job, in and out in 2 days with a good cleanup. Fully certified with WCB etc. Great guys to deal with.

Would love to see some proof as this isn’t the first time you’ve made this claim.

For what it is worth-
Sunsets guys are solid. I go out hunting with main salesman and have met the owner. They fully believe in proper underlayment and ventilation. They are masters at installing the heavier impact resistant shingles such as Malarkey legacy.

Your best bet is to get three quotes-

figure out what type of shingle you want a 30 year such as (bp, Iko, gaf, or oc) or a heavier 50 year (most are 4 bundles per square so more labour). Make sure they 6 nail. What type of underlayment and ice and water is used, new flashings and vents and type of workmanship warranty and how long they’ve been in business and if they use installer crews or in house and most importantly if they have up to date insurance and license. Get references and pay when the job is done with both parties happy with clean up and install.
