Tentheater

I had a big buddy in a nine ft. Sq. Tent and was way too much with no wind. Never tried it in the wind. Piker

Heater

My vote is for the big buddy heater. They have a low, medium and high setting so you can control the amount of heat given off!

So not overkill for a small one man tent?

Would depend on where you are fishing, with more heat there's more weight. I heat a 4 man easily with the mid size buddy heater but I never drive on a lake ever so weight was a factor.

IMHO there is insufficient room for a heater in a one man tent. Use a sleeping rated for the conditions would be my choice and how much time would you spend in a one man tent?

edit: is this a fishing tent or a sleeping tent? I commented as I did because it is in the general forum and not the fishing forum.

I didn't even notice the section, disregard if its a sleeping tent

I don't know about the Mr. Heater products

Have you given any thought to the Tinder app? Seems to have worked for this guy.
Cons: Reliability, Size, and Heat Output are highly variable. :thinking-006:
Pros: there shouldn't be any concerns about CO poisoning.

I don’t think the big buddy would be overkill when set on low. It’s nice to be able to crank it up when it’s really cold out like today! You can always crack a window or door zipper if you are too warm?!

I’ve got a little buddy for my one man ice fishing tent and it works awesome, even works well in my 3 man flip up.
