https://www.amazon.ca/Hunters-Trappe...gateway&sr=8-1 I have a bear hide I want to try to tan myself. Anyone try these kits? |

Try it out an let us know the results. You could get an accual decent tan from Stuff at home depo, the orange bottle at best is a preserve so the bugs don’t eat it. |
I wouldn't waste your time with that orange bottle crap, get the proper stuff like EZ-100, lutan-F or trubond, I know Marty was talking about getting trubond to sell in AB not sure if he did but I cant say enough good about this product its great. If your have never done any home tanning I wouldn't recommend a bear as the first but if your determined to anyway make sure you degrease it really good. If you don't have any machines (tumbler/flesher etc) be prepared for a lot of elbow grease if you want the hide soft.....
