I really liked that one too. The interviewer got a real taste of living off the land. I thought he was very fair and showed both sides, how he felt prior and then his thoughts after seeing and doing, how animals get harvested and used to survive up there. The pre skinning of the Grizzly was fun to watch.

Interesting pair of girls, makes you wonder what their childhood was like to have chosen that path.

I watched this one after, and then read about a book the woman in the video wrote. Turns out it has a few awards attached to it, so I ordered it for my son who has a bit of an adventurer's heart. I think he'll enjoy it.

Thanks for putting that up. Really enjoyed watching the early years as a comparison to their life on Last Alaskan's with the daughters grown and gone.

you should watch ''the last alaskans'', season 2 is playing, it's all Heimo and a few others familys, no script, just their every day lives
