W.H.D Canal Regs?
 

I was planning on trying my luck along the canal between Calgary and Chestermere. Is the canal considered Bow River, Chestermere Lake or General Regulations?

I wouldn't even bother, most of it was almost dry until about a week or so ago. I'd stick with either Chestermere or the Bow itself.

I recall reading in the regs you can’t fish canals. I could be wrong though

Used to catch them out of the canal just out of Chestemere going west on the north side of the road. Nothing big enough to keep but can be a lot of fun.
