Oh man the Suzuki Carry line of trucks!

Hydro1 11-10-2015 01:26 AM

Dodge.

special_fred 11-10-2015 01:34 AM

there is no "least db truck" per se, some buy fords, others dodge, the smart ones buy chevy's. however that being said alot of people from out east prefer dodge, perhaps it reminds them of how the vehicle drives after hitting a moose?

brslk 11-10-2015 01:51 AM

I'd love to find another old Datsun or Chevy Luv.
4X8 box that was actually used.

Had 50 years of experience with North American pickups, through the rust-out years of Chevrolet and the Fixorrepairdaily F150 4x4.
Now this old retired guy drives a Nissan SUV - over 250K on the clock, and the first thing that failed was a rear wheel bearing. Other than that, there have only been usual service items like tires, brakes, oil changes etc. Drove Toyotas for the town car for many, many years of trouble free service.
I would be looking at Toyota for a pickup truck, if I was in the market.

I was looking for one of these many years ago.

Boogerfart 11-10-2015 07:09 AM

I've gotta say Toyota.

tacomama 11-10-2015 07:25 AM

Anything from Toyota

timsesink 11-10-2015 08:47 AM

GMC Sierra, not lifted. Duramax's on stock rims. Black. Sounds a lot like my truck!

M.C. Gusto 11-10-2015 08:52 AM

2003 Toyota has been my most trouble free vehicle out of all the trucks I have owned

Matt L. 11-10-2015 08:54 AM

Whatever truck you want to drive without giving a damn how AO will judge you.

One that you own - that's not owned by the bank - the real Albertan way of owning things - good lessons learned from a cyclical economy and prudent Scottish ancestors.

Delta Bravo Alberta trucks will be selling for 10 cents on the dollar any day now.

I thought you wanted to know what the least DB truck was.

Seriously, RIGHT NOW in our economy the perfect Albertan truck is one that's PAID FOR.

Well apparently my Dodge is a DB vehicle. So what say you on the DB factor about my 55?

35 or 55?

I say that's a sweet ride - and it no doubt paid for.

She'll look good hooked up to horsepower when you can't afford to buy gas anymore.

They called those Bennett Buggies - named after Con PM R.B. Bennett in the dirty 30's.

If your father tells you it's a nice truck

tirebob 11-10-2015 10:31 AM

Anything 2wd and regular cab is pretty hard to be a D-bag in... That is as basic a work truck as one could have!

Halfton 11-10-2015 11:13 AM

Best truck...easy...a 2003 to 2007 Dodge 2500/3500 4x4 short box powered by a Cummings 5.9 Diesel...Auto or Standard Tranny/ makes no difference other than user preference.
So make sure that you all :test: write this down so none of you ever have to ask this question again.

Canyonero.

Love seeing an old 80's Ford or Chev that has been kept in pristine condition and driven by some tough old bugger

Me Too! :acigar:

In answer to the OP's question: anything bigger and heavier and "meaner" than the RAV I've been driving for the last year or so. :D
