Thanks very much!!

My current load is 42.2 gr of H4350 with 140gr ELDM. It is above max but its a pretty common node (41.8-42.4). Obviously, do not start there. I started low and worked my way up and found a great load. I'm using Lapua brass so it help a ton with pressure issues.

I use 41.5gr h4350 with hornady brass and fedm primers or cci

41.5gr of h4350 is what hornady uses in their factory load with 140's. They even publish on their boxes. The creedmoor was desighned and marketed around hornady publishing their load data on boxes for the reloader

The load info on the box is a bit misleading ,as Hornady loads their ammo by volume not weight and 41.5 gr. of H4350 is their book max load for 140's.
The early Factory 140gr. match loads I pulled bullets from and weighed the powder all weighed more than that ,some were almost 43.0 grains.
Hornady 6.5 CM. 143 ELD-X loaded factory brass from last year a buddy shot had high pressure signs ,primers really flat and some slightly protruding .They load them hot. I sized them ,did a quick load development and ended up with 41.5 gr. H4350 under 143 ELD-x's at 2674 fps. that showed none of the same pressure signs.

Worked fine for a quick hunting load ,I'll do more load work this year with Lapua SRP brass.

My Bergara loved the 140eldm with 41.5 varget, then found it loved the 145 match burners even more.

6.5

44 grains of Varget behind 100 grain Barnes in the swede. No pressure signs-very accurate and lethal
