Trappers Assn. AGM

Mark your calendar for the ATA AGM September 8th at the Westlock Inn. This year you will need a current trapping license as well as ATA membership to vote. (don't ask me, :angry3: I'm just posting what the e-mail said) There will be an election for President, Vice President :fighting0074: and any zone with more than 2 nominees.
I'm sure there will be a full agenda as usual and it's a good opportunity to stay informed :test: and/or get involved.

The bylaws were updated last year so that’s why you’ll need a valid trapping license and a membership to vote.

Let’s hope we get a good turnout.

There will not be election of President or Vice President at the AGM.
As you probably know Anne has stepped down and Kevin is accepting an unrelated offer.
There will, no doubt, be changes at the zone level and it's still an excellent opportunity to meet/talk to zone reps or area trappers, see old friends and make new ones.
Also if you have questions about the ATA this is your opportunity to ask them.
If you can go, it's worth it and the BS doesn't get too deep (trappers don't BS right? :snapoutofit:).
I'd like to congratulate Bill incoming Pres. and Rob returning VP, thank Anne for her years of service and Kevin for his time and hard work on the board.
Doug

Bill, I would assume one of the ATA ladies would have names of ALL the payed up members on her laptop computer at the meeting, you should be good to go.

dugh 08-30-2018 10:05 AM

Yes, there is usually a list of membership at the entrance.

Perfect I'll see you all there. I'm looking to be informed on the goings on instead of reacting to the whispers and rumors that seem to float around. :thinking-006:

I am giving up a shift from work to drive 4 hours to be part of this AGM. I never give up a shift quickest way to have someone replace you in this economy. I deem this of high importance.
For those guys that live 1hour or less from westlock and are retired with nothing to do please swing on by I'd like to say hi and shake your hand.

Hi there,
Yes, please bring your current Trapping License with you to receive a Voting Card when you register at the door. There is also a list of current up to date members, but may have a glitch or 2....
Thanks

A.g.m.

Had an opportunity to attend AGM yesterday and congratulations to Anne COLES and fellow board members for a job well done. We appear to be financially solid and headed in the right direction. Thank you again Anne for your excellent leadership and all the hard work and extra time you committed to the association.

X2 I thanked Anne for her hard work as well. The board members put in a lot of time and effort to keep things rolling a smooth as it can be. Thanks to the board members that continued on and the to the few new fellows that stepped up. There was a good turn out there at the AGM. Looking forward to making this next year a real success.
Bill
