Elk Areas

Just curious if anyone has recommendations for long day/overnight elk hunting spots around Calgary? Between Calgary and Bar U Ranch in the mountains, or around Canmore?

I am new to the area and looking to put some footwork in to find some elk.

Anywhere that has elk sign where you can get permission.

Do your research, ask permission, put boots to the ground and go scouting. It’s just that easy really!!
