Tough luck ends with success
 

Hey guys! Long time without making a post on here, but I've been hard at it in the bush with bear and turkeys. This season I was trying to take a turkey with my bow and I had a hard time, after having 3 screw ups I just wanted to kill a bird so I went and made it happen with the shotgun. Ouch. Thats an awful lot of work and preparation only to miss them with your bow and then shotgun. Glad you were able to close the deal reaping. It looks like you have a pretty healthy population of Turkey's in your area. It amasse's me that these shy spooky birds let you walk up to them when reaping.
Congrats on the one you did harvest. They really are big beautifull birds, and they are tough to hunt.
