MAJOR Lowrance Software Update Coming!

Lowrance has a new software update coming this fall for all of the Elite TI, HDS Gen 3 and HDS Carbon units.

The Elite TI, Gen 3 and Carbon units get Fish Reveal and updated mapping options from CMAPs.

The Carbon units get a huge upgrade in DI and SI performance (Structure Scan HD and 3D), as well as a much improved 3D display when using the Structure Scan 3D module.

Not a ton of info or real world experience out there yet from what I can find online, but it sure looks promising.

EDIT - Not sure why I typed "this FALL", it's due out this SPRING, sometime in March from what I can gather.

When you say Elite TI are you talking an Elite 7TI for example? I know the # is just the screen size but curious if this update will work on a new Elite TI7 I just purchased to replace my Hook 5X?

Yep. It will definitely work on your Elite 7 TI.

This update was officially released last week. It looks awesome.

Make sure you update you HDS Gen3, Carbon, and Elite TI units.

I can’t wait to get out on the water with it!
