I' m thinking of up grading my fishing boat when the stock has been refilled .

Depends what my intended usage is; River, lake or ocean. That makes a huge difference.

16 foot tinner with a 50hp jet tiller. I’d use the rest of the cash on fly in trips.

Probably something heavier guage welded. Kingfisher has some nice multispecies boats that would be in that ball park. Little spendy for me but someday lol...

I bought a number of boats from the 12' tinner, 16' Rennel, 18' Sylvan, 19' Stratos (very good boat, ran it for 15 years). I currently running the 620 Ranger
incredible boat, way better than the Stratos.

I like the Kingfisher boats myself , if I won a lottery, I could see myself buying one.

For the type of fishing I do most a new Kingfisher hardtop.

18' tiller...most likely Alumacraft, but I'd have to review all the manufacturer's again. 100% Suzuki DF90 outboard (if you can ever get a Suzuki in Canada again...it's a joke the past couple of years and expected to be again next year). Like all my other boats, it would have more electronics than you would think would fit on it. Basically, I'd buy the boat Tom Boley runs.

Once I'm done with my SSV-16 mapping boat, I plan to sell it and buy this very boat. But I still wouldn't trade it for my Warrior V21-21. That one's out of the price range you mentioned though by quite a bit. ;)

I've been eyeballing these and Duckworth's for a few year now. Not hard to rocket past $120,000 though. :(

Either a 16’ lund SSV maxed with a Yamaha motor and a decent selection of electronics or a Lund 1775 Adventure again with a maxed out Yamaha and set of electronics. I don’t need a fancy boat! I’d spend the savings as others have said going on trips places with the boat.

I honestly think with that kind of budget, I'd have two boats. One for lakes and one for rivers. The river boat can be smaller. I'm thinking 16 foot, welded mod-v jon boat with an outboard jet tiller. You don't need much for a river boat, their purpose is transport more than a fishing platform. They just get you to where you want to be.

The lake boat would be 17 - 18 ft with a windshield, something like a Princecraft Amarok. Size, comfort and fishability would be the goals while have it small enough that it can access the little lakes and large enough the medium to bigger lakes are doable. I don't fish giant lakes like Cold Lake often enough to need a really big boat. For the rare time I'm at a lake like that, it would be more cost effective to hire a guide.

For sure....I'd have to be certain I'm going to take up charter fishing as a retirement gig in BC which has been a consideration. Until then my Targa will have to suffice.

You really need to pick something that fits with waters you fish and your personal needs. Everything has its limitations and areas where it excels

I have sold my kingfisher to my Dad in BC this year and will be going kayak only. Personally I would have lots of money leftover because I just don’t feel I need a fancy boat anymore

18 foot welded aluminum Wolf soft top with a full width pod. Basically a 20’ boat., deep and wide. 150 and 9.9 Yammy’s 4-strokes on hydraulic steering. Helm up front and down back.

All 2 guys need for fishing the west coast in any weather a sane person would be out in. Easily trailerable, decent on fuel and bomb-proof.

I'd most definitely buy a $5G boat, and pocket the remaining 75-115G.
