Looking for a rest
My rest just experienced a major failure so I’m looking for a new one. Anybody know of a shop in Alberta that has a hamskea trinity hunter in stock? Right hand.

What type of rest failed on you?
And to answer your question, I believe Jimbows has a good selection of Hamskea's |
If you can’t find one in Alberta, try Northprosports in Saskatoon

I had planned to check with Jim bows but they are closed today. The rest I had been using on that bow was a ripcord ace, can’t really blame it as it’s about 3 years old and has been pretty wet on a couple occasions. What happened with it was that it froze up while shooting outside and the launcher arm failed to drop, couldn’t even trigger it manually until it warmed up.

I would call Ripcord. Customer service for archery companies is usually very good.
Last year a bought a used bow that had the Bowtech specific QAD. It wasn't falling correctly. QAD had me take a photo of the serial number and a photo after I cut the launcher arm. They then contacted a local QAD dealer that gave me a brand new QAD. It is worth a call. Even if you want to get a Hamskea, you may have a brand new Ripcord to sell. |
