Beeswax

The last couple days I've been dealing with a fair bit of beeswax and was wondering if anyone uses it on thier bow strings. I'm not into archery at all and I know lots has changed since I dabbled a little bit 20 years ago but is there any reason not to, or any good reason to use straight beeswax on your strings?

Beeswax

None of your beeswax!

Sorry, I couldn’t help it. Hopefully the bump gets you a real response.

Further to that, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be good. I’d be happy to give it a try unless someone pipes up telling me otherwise

I used to make my own strings and always used Bees wax on them never any issues

Got a brick of bees wax just for that purpose, never used it yet :)
Still have a bit of easton wax to go through then i'll switch over.
